In the past couple of years, there has been a huge demand for eco-friendly, all-natural and cruelty-free products. People are becoming increasingly aware of what is in the products they use everyday and just exactly how they are made. 

I am hoping this information will help answer any questions you have and help you understand why I have chosen soy wax. 

Carter & Co candles are made from all natural American grown soy wax. Soy wax is a natural, renewable resource, and is a by-product of soybeans. The majority of soybeans are grown and harvested right here in the United States. Soy wax has a lower melting point and because of this, soy candles will burn slower and longer. Soy wax burns with zero soot, creating soot free candles. 

Carter & Co candles are made using a braided cotton wick that is both zinc and lead-free. Our wicks are designed to provide a consistent burning flame.

Carter & Co candles are made using a blend of fragrance and essential oils that are free of phthalates, carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other hazardous chemicals. We aim to keep our candles as natural and chemical free as possible so you never have to sacrifice your health for home fragrance. 

Carter & Co candle jars are 100% recyclable. Jars can easily be cleaned using soap and water. Once cleaned there are endless possibilities for your jars!
