F.A.Q

Q: How do I buy a candle online?

A: This is a very important question. Some items are hard to purchase online because pictures, videos, expectations, descriptions and reviews can be misleading sometimes. When purchasing candles and home fragrance items online people can be hesitant. Why? Because you can't smell them! When deciding if you want to purchase a candle or home fragrance online, there are a few important things to keep in mind. Scents are a highly personal thing and each persons scent preference can vary widely. If you typically go with sweet, bakery scented candles I wouldn't recommend purchasing a flowery scent. Stick to the scent notes you typically purchase. Always read the candle descriptions. Candle descriptions are written with the intent of helping you understand what scent notes a candle contains. They are never written to mislead you. Understand what season you are in and/or what mood you are looking to create. Light more intimate scents are great for bedrooms. A white pumpkin candle may be your staple candle for fall but it may not be a favorite in the spring and summer when you're expecting a light and fresh scent. If you're local to your candle vendor, visit their local shows or stockiest so you can smell each fragrance first hand.

Q: How long do your candles burn?

A: To ensure a longer burn life, you must follow proper candle care. Candle care can be found at the bottom of our home page under, Candle Care. Please see each candle listing for more information on approximate burn time per candle size.

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located in Christiansburg, Virginia. Our candles are hand-poured and shipped from our home Candle Studio.

Q: Will this candle fill my house?

A: This has always been a very popular question. There are a ton of things that can affect this question. The first thing is, how sensitive is your sense of smell? Some people are super sensitive to smells and can smell something miles away while others can't. The next thing is, how big is your house? A larger home with vaulted ceilings is going to be more difficult to fill than a bathroom or a smaller area. To assist with this you should review candle sizes. An 8oz single wick jar may not completely fill a large area. You may need to have 2-3 8oz candles for a large area or size up if a larger size is offered. Next, some scents are naturally stronger than others. Bakery scents are typically stronger than your standard vanilla candle, which would be much lighter. This will come with trail and error, if you're having a hard time smelling a candle in your bedroom, move it to a smaller area and see if it improves. Please keep in mind all of the possibilities.
